Denise Kinsella
Manager

Ms. Denise Kinsella is the manager of the International Student Program. She has been working with International Students since 1986 when she lived and taught in the Middle East. She has worked at the community college level since 1994. She joined the friendly staff at Long Beach City College in 1998. Ms. Kinsella earned her B.A. in International Politics at the University of California (Santa Cruz) and her M.A. in Intercultural Administration at the School for International Training in Vermont.

In addition to living in the Middle East for two years, Denise has traveled extensively in Northern and Southern Asia, and Eastern and Western Europe. She has also done a little exploring in Africa. She understands what it is like to be a new student in an unfamiliar culture and country. She is ready to meet you and help you with all of your questions.

Nelly Delgado
Admissions and Records Technician, II

I've been a Long Beach City College Classified Staff member since 1997 between both campuses (LAC/PCC). I am very acquainted with both campuses. I have worked under Student Services for the last eight years. Born in Guadalajara , Mexico and grew up in Long Beach , CA and reside here.

When I first arrived to the U.S.A. it was a whole new world for me, and this is where I can relate with our International students who come to this country for the first time. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am very devoted in helping others and always here to listen if you need someone to talk to in a time of need.

Judy Oh
Counselor

Judy Oh is a full-time International Student Counselor at Long Beach City College. She earned her B.A. degree in Art and Psychology from University of California, Berkeley and her M.S. degree in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles.

She has been working at LBCC since 1995 in the Counseling and Student Development Department. She enjoys working with international students because she learns so much from them. Judy will assist you in developing your educational and personal goals.
